Panning doesn't work on two tracks

I have two guitar tracks that won't pan (L/R). All the other tracks pan without any problems. Before I mono export the tracks and replace them on the project I want to see if there is anything I'm not catching. I recorded the tracks in mono and they show up as a mono wave file. I checked and made sure there were no automation envelopes or track bus routing. I have a PodFarm plugin in the FX bin for distortion, and that's mono. Any thoughts would help

Are your tracks themselves stereo or mono?  Switch your tracks to stereo or drag-drop your clips into a new stereo track.

If PodFarm VST forces mono (with no stereo option) ... you may need to bounce/freeze these ... then make the track stereo again (or something like that).

    (hope this helps)

Thank Philip, I tried both of those suggestions and nothing worked. I even tried to export individual tracks and place them back in the project. That didn't work. So I ended up opening a new project with a Sonar template (I was using a custom template on this project that I created) and now the tracks are panning. So I need to look at my custom template and see why it won't let me pan

The only way I can duplicate your problem, in 8.5, is to route a mono track to a bus with interleave set to mono, and you've already ruled that out.....

Are these tracks routed ONLY to a single stereo bus, and not to any effects busses?

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
