Midi track alignment issues...

I have worked with Sonar for a long time and for some reason I have this problem now. I am working with drum midi files (Superior Drummer 2). There must be a simpler way to import each loop and have it align with the prior loop  without  problems. I drag the file in and then wind up having to try to slide it to keep it in time with the prior loop.  This is really frustrating.  The BPM are the same yet I wind up having the clips just not quite in time with each other.

Turn them into a Groove Clip, trim to an exact number of measures and you should be good to go.
