Skype?
My sister talked me into getting a webcam so I could teach my Brother-in-Law to play guitar(which I gave him brand new). Then she had me down load Skype. Once he found out you actually have to practice and he couldn't just play something if I just showed him how. I'm here with a webcam and Skype and haven't used either once. I there any use for this?

I'm pretty sure the only use is to teach brother-in-laws how to play guitar. Or talk to Mooch.
If I were you, I'd get a new brother-in-law quickly

there are"ladies" who are on Skype and webcams, but I think you have to give them a credit card number..

1) exactly how would you know that George (ITYRN)? 2) how does that information help bill unless you are suggesting that he is a "lady" who needs to also buy a credit card machine?

Well he was so excited about getting a new one I don't have the heart to take it back. But it goes to show ya how little people realize what it takes to play music and or an instrument. He actually thought whatever I showed him he'd be able to just do what I did.

The first time they try a chord and their fingers can't stay in the required position is an eye-opener for some! LOL!

Family (or extended family) will always assume that if you can manage to do something, someone else who has no knowledge, experience or skills of any kind must be able to do it 10 times better with almost no effort at all. My kids all assume that if I can do something, plankton can probably do a better job.
