New side project

Hi guys.  Just put together a new side project called Disgruntled Minions.  Hard techno with a nod to d&b and even zappa.  have a new track called negative space.  need to re-record vox due to some clipping issues.  anyway feedback is always appreciated.
let's see... five instances of rapture and an instance of z3ta+2.

enjoy

Yup, you nailed it. Old school "Art of Noise" like sound with a Zappasque vocal style. Interesting indeed. Cool.

Strange but cool , I do think the mix needs some attention in each track recorded . Theres alot going on where too many tracks are squeezed on top of each other making it hard to hear whats really happening in each track you recorded .

Cool tune but for me remixing would be a great thing .

I really enjoy pieces like this.  In addition to all the influences mentioned, I hear a little Trent Reznor, too.  There is a lot going on, but it kept taking me in different directions with all the sound effects.  Songs like this are fun to mix, and I'll bet that you could come up with 3 or 4 totally different mixes, and they all would sound good.  Have fun with this.

All the best,
Lynn

thanks guys. yeah this one was fun... esp the midi parameter mappings in rapture. lol. @lynn... i only have one section where there are more than the bass drums and  one other synth going on so im thinking the deladys are causing a little muddiness and db spiking. thats a bit difficult to get a grip on.

I enjoy listening to peoples creative output almost as much as I enjoy making my own. The pleasure was mine.
