Could it be that the younger musicians don't need to come to a forum to learn how to use this stuff? That's why I originally came here. My son is 24, and whenever he gets a new piece of software or hardware, the manual gets left in the box, and he either figures out himself (quickly) or he goes on Youtube and watches a couple of videos and moves onward. He plays guitar, and uses Guitar Tracks or my Sonar, but he has no interest in posting here at all. He'll burn a disc for a girl, or play it for his buddies, but that's it.

Yeah, that's basically what I already said.

I think mebee forums are the last bastion of the middle-aged, or at least the mildly young in your case Randy.

Pffft. Mildly young? I appreciate the compliment JB, but unfortunately I believe I may have exceeded the recommended speed limit for an extended part of my younger adulthood. At 52, there are days when it feels like I'm on borrowed time, and the payment is soon due.
