Help please...deleting measures

Help please...deleting measures

Hi Folks, I find myself unable to delete a whole bunch of measures.....the track starts at 1 hour in and despite repeated deletes I can't delete the measures beforehand, my parts are locked (but unlocking doesnt seem to make a diffrence.

    Do you have automation enabled? If you do are you selecting the track envelope or the measure? IF envelope, shift + click on the measure rather than the envelope and try to delete again. Also use your keyboard's delete key rather than mouse menu.

    1 - Select All (Ctrl + a)
    2 - Swipe across the timeline for the measures you want deleted
    3 - Select Edit > Delete *ENSURE DELETE HOLE IS CHECKED*

    Also you probably want to make sure you snap to measure too - for good measure! Pardon the pun :-)
