I just ordered the X1 Producer upgrade....

Sonar X1 Studio is working perfectly for me, and Cakewalk offered me a Producer upgrade for $99, so I ordered it.... I also ordered the boxed version, so I spent a little more but it's worth it to me to have the installation dvd's.

What the heck, I get Pro Channel, Dimension Pro, True Piano's Amber, Mastering effects.... just those things makes it a very good buy for me.  The sale price was only available until May 22nd, so I decided to jump on it.

Does that include Expanded...  If not, then I would HIGHLY recommend getting that right now while it's on sale for $20 this month...

    Regardless, Producer is great!

No it doesn't include the Expanded version...I'll have to look into that.

Yeah, for $20... It's a No Brainer since it will be $49 after the Sale. The modules are less than half off too, so if you need a Compressor or a Gate/Expander - good time to pick those up too.

Wait until you get Pro and then install the expanded.  Makes PC complete.

Thanks to you guys I just ordered the Expanded package, it's downloading now and I'll install it next week after Producer gets here.

What the heck it's only $20 bucks.

Compared to Pro Tools 10 at $599, ...X1 Producer is a bargain, but the thing that sells me is how rock solid X1 has been working on my computer rig. Absolutely no problems !! My EWQLSO and Ivory II programs work flawlessly with X1. My M-Audio Fast Track USB interface has been working flawlessly as well !!

Thank you DJWayne, and all of you, for your business. We do appreciate it! I hope you love Producer and get as much mileage out of the ProChannel and other producer exclusives as we do.

AT is right about Expanded and how it makes the ProChannel, 'complete'. It's definitely a workflow changer for me. And this is just the tip of the iceberg for the ProChannel.

Having X1 Producer without Expanded is like having your coffee without cream!

Its a must have! More than highly recommended.

I'm sure I'll get some good usage out of Producer as on occassion I record my friends's music, as well as my own stuff. I've been out of commission for a while due to a heart by-pass surgery, but I'm feeling much better now and am back to my old self. My musician friends are amazed by my simple studio set up and it's important to me to stay current with technology advances. I started out with Opcode's Vision software and have been watching how sequencing software has evolved over the years. Cakewalk has really progressed nicely with their software, and have a dynamite program now. My new little computer setup is now really kicking it !!! A computer is only as good as the software you put on it, and mine is really looking good now !!

Seth Perlstein [Cakewalk] Thank you DJWayne, and all of you, for your business. We do appreciate it! It's definitely a workflow changer for me. And this is just the tip of the iceberg for the ProChannel. SP I was looking at this deal earlier. I am confused...the package comes with X1 Pro but you must already have X1 Pro in order to qualify for the $100 deal. It then states that you do not get a serial number for the new X1 Pro purchase. In fact, under the list of deals, it should read "$100 to $449" (and not just $100) for the X1 Suite since you must already have X1 for the $100 deal. So the quote is very misleading for the packaged deal. Why not just say something to the effect of "upgrade from X1 Pro to Expanded with the PC4K S-Type module and Z3ta+2." Am I the only one seeing this?
