The Interview

Beware - Adult language in this song

Another colab with Drew Beats - it's a Rap tune so it may not be your cup of tea but comments on the production values would be very welcome.

    Hi, Daryl,

You've got a great rap song with clean, modern production work and lots of cool moving elements flowing throughout the crisp, pro sounding mix!

I'm on my third listen.  Drew sounds excellent, and I really love the sparkling clean melody linethat streams in and out, especially when it's with the wide panned synth effects during the breaks, and the little organ part that comes in around 2:20 was a cool addition.

    Really nice work!
    Bob

Hi Daryl, as Bob said, this is a good example of a well produced rap song.  The various sound textures work very well in the context of this song.  Played loud, the groove has punch and provides a good backdrop for this song.  Well done.

    All the best,
    Lynn

It is actually pretty good, but you need to drop the "Rs" at the end of words like "pretender". Sing it more like "Pretenda". Right now, you sound like a very suburban white boy.

    Cool tune!

I thought the vocals are a little to loud and the sibilance is right on the edge to be fatiguing on some points.

However, the tune is excellent. Love the beat and the breaks. Great flow on the rap. Nice and clear sound to the different elements and the kick and snare sounds are really, really cool!

    I enjoyed it a-lot!

    Hi Daryl,
This is pretty cool...the production is nice and works well.  The vocalist is a bit monotonous in his phrasing for  me.  Might be a style that he's working on purpose, but I could use a bit more pitch/tonal variation. A/B with someone like Wiz Khalifa (I was listening to that just before this track so it was on my mind).
