Is the bapu art?

It wouldn't matter to me if he was Oil or Acrylic.

Please discuss.

I had acrylic nails once.

They broke as soon as I hit them with a hammer.

And then I cried out "Please don't hurt them hammer".

Re:Is the bapu art? 2012/05/17 12:49:07 (permalink)
The Bapu appears to be a work of historical fiction.  There are indications he may have been based upon an actual character.  There's an Urban Legend out there that says that The Bapu was an alternate identity the appeared when Bapu suffered some type of schizophrenic breakdown, or was asked to wear a shirt on the bus.

Some say The Bapu never really existed and that we should just stop talking about it lest he try that again.  Others say that The Bapu roams across the Interwebs late at night, seeking an empty husk of a human shell it may sieze in order to post in a Secret Forum.  People holding that view tend to be heavily medicated.

That should crack The Bouy up.

I don't think it counts as art until you get a coffee table book.

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

Bapuism is a bit like Dadaism but without the Dada and you add in the Bapu.
