Bounce to track not working??

Hi,
Last night I was working on a project and was trying to bounce down some VSti's to an audio file so that I could chop them up. No matter what track I selected (or synth), the audio wasn't rendered. An audio file WOULD be created but the there was no sound in it. One of the tracks did actually have sound but it was so quiet it was almost inaudible. Any idea what's going on here? As far as I know I haven't changed any settings, and I have played about with the bounce settings so that it just bounces down tracks instead of the whole mix but this doesn't fix anything.

The weird thing is that if I create a new project and just put one synth in it and draw some notes in PRV and then bounce to audio, it DOES work. So it seems to be something with this particular project.

Any ideas??

    This question is to broad for me to give a specific answer.
     
    Make sure you have the proper track selected for the bounce.  You'll just need to trouble shoot the problem back from the finish to the start to see why your not getting the sound. 
     
    If the project is somehow corrupted you could open up a new project and then place the old project within the new project using the browser (just like you would insert a plug-in into a track).

    IIRC when doing a VSTi bounce (on a non simple instrument track) you have to select both the MIDI and the AUDIO tracks.
