Need some help fast on re-installing Dimension Pro

My machine got trashed so I'm reinstalling OS, software, and data form scratch.  I owned Dimension Pro prior to its being included in X1 Producer.  Seems like there was in issue with having a prior installation and then not being able to use some sound packs that came with X1 unless you had a new serial number for the Dimension Pro that came with X1.  But installing the new over old caused problems.  I still need my original Dimension Pro bacause I still have some projects that use the dxi version.  Can somebody point me to the right steps to have both the dxi and the newer VST?  Or if I don't want to use those sound packs do I have to install the version that came with X1?  Thanks.

    This may help you with your older projects when installing the new Dim pro. If you cant have an older and newer version at the same time, just bounce down your Dim pro track in your older projects. I klnow you wont be able to tweak it, but if those projects are finished, then bouncing is a good solution.

    I decided to install my "older" version of Dimension Pro (1.0 update ot 1.2 upgrade to 1.5).  I had upgraded to v1.5 before it was offered with X1 Producer.  What I recalled was that nobody could install the 3 expansion packs that also came with the X1 download if they had an existing installation of DP.  But you can download them separately from the CW site and they install just fine.
