Track Manager gone from Console view

Suddenly, I cannot get Track Manager to work in Console view.
This is so for all projects.
Neither of the Track menu and Strips menu options displays the Track Manager dialog.
Key binding H displays the dialog and I can change settings OK but this does not actually change what is shown/hidden in the Console view.
I re-established the key binding but it made no difference.
Menu options and key binding work fine in Track view.
Anyone any ideas?

It is working fine for me (at this moment...... I'm trying to recreate the issue).  I seem to recall having the same problem you are describing,  but I believe it was because i was not selecting Console View correctly.  Make sure that Console View and not some other window is selected or highlighted when you try this.

I'm pretty sure I was actively in Console view but I'm at work at the moment so I'll triple check when I get home. Thanks.

It either went off screen or its behind a window. If its off screen, just raise your screen resolution to its highest possible setting. then drag it to the center. Then go back and reset your screen resolution to its original setting.
    EDIT:
Sorry, i read it wrong. I thought you could not see your track manager dialog.

    Please disregard me

guylemec... I had this problem a few weeks back (having had X1 for only a few days or so). I was able to sleuth it out as being caused by putting soft synths into track folders. In my case, it was specifically the TTS-1 and the Roland Groove synth. I discovered if I put either or both into a track folder the CV Track Manager would not appear, whether I was trying to invoke it via key binding or menu, just as you described. After talking to Cakewalk Tech Support about it, the agent was able to duplicate the issue on his end. He thanked me for uncovering the bug and said it would be passed on to the "bakers". Just so ya know...it's not you. EDIT: Also, it depends on how you import the synth into the synth rack. If you choose the "Simple Instrument" option, you will have this Track Manager issue. If you use the MIDI/Audio pair you will be able to put them in folders and have it not effect the Track Manager.

I think the entire Track manager function is a bit flakey and is in serious need of an overhaul.

I keep on getting weird stuff happening with mine

Thanks pjfarr. I deleted my synth and re-input it as a midi-audio coupling with a track folder and my Transaction Manager is back in Console view.
I also tried inputting a Simple instrument without a folder and TM still worked in CV.
I had overlooked the "Simple instrument" option for years and have just started using it for economy of space. I look forward to the Bakers curing the down side. Thanks again and bless this forum.
