Waves WUP newb

I would like to begin buying some choice Waves plugs but have truly no idea why I would need WUP without buying an actual bundle. Anyone have any experience with it or advice? People seem to love or hate it. Thanks!!

try out some of the demo's and see for yourself, IMO the V-Series and API bundles are very good

I bought the WUP this year.
I had version 6 of the SSL bundle and version 8 of the Ren comp.
Within the last 2 months I bought Kramers TTT and JJP Analog Leginds.

When you buy waves plug-ins they come with a free year of WUP so I didn't buy for the 2 new bundles I only got it for the SSL and Ren Comp so that I could bring everything up to version 9.

You don't have to buy it now or at all. But if you decide that you would like to update some of your plugs at a later date just buy it for those plugs when the time comes.
