Can SONAR show me how many total MIDI notes are on a track?

Can SONAR show me how many total MIDI notes are on a track?

Simply, is there a way to select a MIDI track in it's entirety and have SONAR tell me how many MIDI notes in total are contained in that track?

I have access to Sonar 8 and Sonar X1, if anyone knows how to accomplish this, please share. The MIDI event list doesn't give me a total.

    You can do this in 8.5 by right clicking the track and selecting Track Properties. The number of Events will show you the total number of events, including non-note events like controllers.

    To see JUST the number of notes, select the track and use the event filter, Edit>Select>By Filter. In the filter window, select ALL at the bottom right corner. Then Uncheck the NOTE box. This will select all the events except notes. Click OK to close the window.

    Then immediately press the Delete key. Don't worry about how the track looks. Pressing delete will delete all track events except Notes. Then right click the track (not clips) and select Track Properties. This should tell you how many note events there are in the track.

    Then use Ctrl-z or Edit>Undo Delete to restore the other track events. This method seems to work for me unless I'm missing something.
