Audio Fx disrupting Soft synth insert

  I have been a Sonar user for about 4 years now. I had originally given up on this idea, but I think that there has to be a way to make it happen. I have Googled mu tail off on this topic and no one has posted about this, at least not that I can find. Example: I insert TTS-1. I add an audio fx to it. Then I try to insert sampletank, but it opens up a completely different soft synth. All soft synths are affected by this. Once I open new project soft synths back to normal. Currently using: Sonar 8 producer 64 bit( Recently Upgraded from 32 Bit as potential solution.) Windows Vista Home Premium Any help is much appreciated. Thank you

    Just to be clear, how and where are you inserting sampletank?

      Insert: Soft Synth: Sampletank as I would enter any other VST. Thanks for consideration

    This used to happen to me a lot in 8.5 & prior.

    The only solution, well, workaround would be to save the file, close Sonar, re-open, then insert the synth again.


    This is not a problem in X1

    Yea tried it at my friend house and the shortcuts bothered me, but it looks like to do what I want that where I have to go.. 

    Maybe you can help me here.

    Ive downloaded a virtual midi cable so that I can attempt live layering.  Playing multiple vst either within the same multi timbral vst or seperate vst.  I had no luck; is this easier with X1
