Trouble with V-Vocal

Every time I try to create a V-Vocal clip I get a crash.  I don't recall having this problem before I upgraded to producer X1 expanded.
I am using XP Pro.  Anyone with a suggestion?  Thanks Mountain Man

    mountain man . . . I'm on XP Pro as well, and have no troubles creating V-Vocal clips.

    What Kind of clip are you trying to apply V-Vocal to ?

    I recall after my upgrade to X1 Expanded, I had to adjust some of the buffer settings for my soundcard + Sonar in the preferences.

    Just a standard V Vocal clip.  Actually any time I try to create V-Vocal
    it sends an error message a DMP file in plugins. 

    How did you adjust your buffers?

    At one point, I had the same problem. Somehow, I learned or got the hint to hit the Global FX Off button to use V-Vocal in X1. It works for me.

    Dell XPS 8700 i7 4770 3.4GHZ, Windows 7 64bit, 8gb Ram, Focurite 18i6, Sonar Platinum
