Looking for a Marimba and/or Xylophone type sound in X1 Producer

Can anyone think of any pre-sets in any of the available synths which sounds like a nice wooden marimba and any that sound like a xylophone? There are so many synths and presets to go through it could take years! Just off the top of your head. Might save me some time! X1 Producer is my DAW of choice.

Thanks!

Matt

Whenever you need real, acoustic sounds, the first place to look in SONAR's collection would be Dimension Pro. It ships with a huge collection of acoustic, sampled sounds. In Dim Pro's Program Browser, look under the 06- Percussion category for a Xylophone patch. Also, look under 24 - Garritan Pocket Orchestra for Marimba... and there's another Xylophone under that category too.

Oh great. Have not played around with Dimension Pro yet. Will certainly check it out later.

By the sounds of it, there may just be a heck of a lot more sounds in this thing that will be perfect for me.

    Many thanks!

Wow. Can't believe I have not looked at Dimension Pro before... Why would anyone need to use any other synth!? This looks amazing... There goes my weekend :)
