Unable to install UA 55 Quad Capture win 7 ultimate 64-bit
Hi guys! This is my first time to post something here. I was necessitated out of my desperation to find a way to make my UA-55 Quad capture works again with my desktop. Hope you guys can help me out here and in advance, a huge thanks. Anyway, here is my story:
A month ago, I bought my UA-55 quad capture. At first, things are working well and I was able to install the drivers flawlessly to both my desktop and loptop. However, a week after that, I notice that after usually 3-4 hours of using it, my Quad capture would stop causing my daw to hanged so I would usually remove the quad capture and re insert it again (This way I was able to correct the problem). However, it came to a point that once it stops, it wont allow me to use it for an hour or 2. I thought at first that's normal. I even thought that perhaps it is its own way of cooling down.
However, the problem comes just couple of days ago, after several hours of using it. It stop. I know that it stops because the DAW I am using mixcraft 5 hanged. I thought its just one of the usual bugging out but after few hours of making it rest, it won't work already. At first, I can still see some flash of lights (the usual lights coming from the knobs when you are connecting it on your CPU) but as I tried to connect it again and again, the flashes of lights gradually fades until such time that there is no more lights. I though at first I just have to re install the driver but to my surprise, I am unable to install it already (driver installation failed). Windows said code 10 contact your vendor (something like that). I thought at first it was my mother board having a problems but when I check my motherboard and USB port, everything is ok. So what I did, i tried to upload the new version of the driver, and to my frustration, its just the same (code 10 error).
Now what even bugged me out is when I connected my quad to the loptop, the one I also installed the driver, it works. With this, I hope someone can help me out. I am suspecting it has got to do either with the driver or with the windows operating itself. Oh by the way, I also reinstalled my windows 7 ultimate thinking that my OS was just bug but the results is the same.
Hoping to hear from anyone soon.
Thanks
