too much AliasFactor. popping noise.

When I have multiple tracks with the AliasFactor effect, the whole song makes a loud annoying popping noise. I thought it was just the program and that when I exported the song as a wav or mp3, it wouldn't make the noise on the finished product, but it does. It wasn't a big deal on a few songs. It actually made it sound pretty cool, but this one I've been working on, it just sounds bad. I've tried just muting all the tracks that have the effect on it, and it takes away some of the noise each time I mute the tracks, but even the ones without it start making a quiet popping noise so I'm thinking maybe using a lot of effects on multiple tracks is the cause?has anyone experienced this? and if so, how in the world do I fix it?

    Welcome to the forum.
Popping and clicking noises are almost always due to Latency set too fast or incorrect buffers. The program is trying to play the song quicker than the sound card can process it, so noises happen.
The more software synths and effects you add, the worse it can get.
You didn't state which program you're using (or operating system, or sound card/audio interface), but if your synth tracks have a Freeze button in them, you can click that and that will temporarily bounce the synths to audio and remove the synth from the processing chain.
You could also manually bounce the synths to audio tracks, delete the synth and Archive the MIDI tracks.
Or increase (to the Slow side) the Latency when mixing and exporting.
