Weird...
...I arrived at work this morning and started my routine and started thinking about a guy that transferred to a different plant within our company. I was concerned for some unknown reason and not five minutes later he knocked on my door...I remarked about how I was just wondering about him as if something was wrong...he informed me that after 29 years he was getting a divorce. This type of thing happens way to often in my life...makes me very uncomfortable- and I don't mean the divorce ( I know I don't write well)

That will save me a chitload of time.

LOL...no but I can tell you I feel there sure won't be much wrong with it. Have you any time with R-MIX? If so, is it going to do what you wanted it to do? I still haven't had time to play with it....and really haven't felt like it even if I would have.

That used to happen to my Mother a lot. It really freaked her out some times. If I remember right, she used to say they were referred to as tokens when she would get those premonitions. She wasn't the voodoo, faith healer, mystic type so I think she had a hard time referring to them as premonitions. Heh. I was witness to many examples of her knowing a relative was going to die or some long lost family member she hadn't seen in yeas coming to visit, hours, sometimes minutes before they died or showed up at our door. It was kind of creepy in a way. It only seemed to happen with family members.

When my daughter was about two years old she refused to look at or be held by a neighbor of ours. About five years later he was convicted of murdering his new girlfriend and her son. Now that's a premonition, no?

I'm sure not making claims to having weird powers... I will say that "weird" things like that have happened my entire life, so far, and to the point that my wife thinks it's weird. She really got a big taste of it a few years after we were married.... I had left work for lunch and stopped at a stop sign- I saw across the intersection and held my hand for her to sit tight...I pulled up along side of her and told her, yes, no, yes....she said BS tell me the questions and I did. It was exactly like a re-run....but it couldn't have been..it didn't happen- she never had a chance to ask me those questions. Many, many more over the years and they haven't stopped....I wish they would.

I made the mistake of mentioning it to a working partner quite a few years back. His attitude was simply ya sure.... The very next morning we got in our work truck and he asked if anything was going to happen....I laughed and told him- now this is going to sound crazy but we fixin' to come into some money... he smiled and got excited....a lot he asked and I said that I thought so because what I saw was a big pile of pennies....he laughed - I said well that could mean a LOT of money.... We pulled up at a quick-stop to get a breakfast snack...I was passenger... I got out and you would simply not believe it....I called him over to my side of truck to see me with both hands full of pennies! Man there must have been ten dollars of pennies in a pile and many others around ....he freaked and I was just wondering how in the world did a pile of pennies get left there. No BS. Just weird simple truth. Bub...I really do think I know how your mother felt. It's not always "simple" things.

I'm sure not making claims to having weird powers... It's one of the most natural things in the world. Especially among relatives even though in this case it wasn't. It's happening to all of us all the time some things we've remembered that we are more sensitive in picking up than others. Sometimes we just recognize a similar chain of events leading up to the point where you notice it has happened. To me it's no more of a phenomena than actual out-loud conversation, which if you think about it is a phenomena in itself. Seperate a Mother from it's new-born just enough so she's out of ear shot or any direct contact, the baby starts to cry and within an instant the Mother will be physiologically ready to feed without any seemingly apparent external cues. Even now when my partner sits down for an evening meal it will often be the exact moment that her Mother will ring for a chat from 200 miles away. It's not just routine either there's a four of five hour window when we'll choose to eat in the evening. The more we rely on electronic gadgets for communication, it seems the more likely we are to become senseless to that kind of perfectly natural level of communication. Although here it seems to be the cue to pick up the phone, so maybe not. It's kind of what I was alluding to in the playing intuitively with others thread sometimes different pairings mean clearer non-verbal communication lines. I take that really close affinity that you occasionally get on meeting someone to the point it is overwhelming to mean what others may recognize as 'Love at first sight'. OK so those meetings may not turn out to be 'love' in the true sense but certainly an unmistakable affinity which can have a powerful and memorable effect. I just think it is all manifestations of that same 'stuff' and part of what makes us human, nothing weird about it. Unless of course I'm weird.

I was one of the uncool kids in high school. I know, I know, it's really hard to believe. One of the kids I hung around with was also uncool, I know, again, hard to believe. We were sitting in Mr. Givler's Social Studies class one boring afternoon and I said, "I predict a fire drill today." My buddy says, "Yes", and he looks around the class room and says, "Mmm ... I'd say about 1:40." Remember the big old clocks you could hear the second hand clicking on in school and how everyone stared at them like zombies all day long waiting for 2:30 ... well, it's 1:39 and everyone is looking at the clock. 1:40 hits, and bam, the fire alarm goes off. We got in trouble for it actually. We got sent to the office and they wanted to know how we got in to the administration office to find out when the fire drills were scheduled. They never believed us that we just made it up but nothing ever came of it. True story.

When I was a kid, my parents told me I'd never amount to anything. Oddly enough, they were right. Freaky, isn't it?

She was kidding of course, but I still kinda stung. Turns out, she was right too. What is it about moms always being right?

Having an intuitive connection with your friends can be disturbing. You never know which way people will zig or zag though. In a 24 hour period they can change direction completely. I try to stay positive in that respect. I'm sure you do too.

Well it's good to see this place is populated by folks who are in tune with some of the more mysterious aspects of the human mind. I guess that comes a long with being an artsy fart in many cases. I find in general you'll get those who are fanatical about this stuff or completely dismiss it because it can't be explained away by science (well I'm sure it could but science isn't that advanced yet... so much more to learn about ourselves as a species and what exactly the world/universe around us is). I personally like to be in the middle. I know something freaky is going on but I'm not gonna go nutsoid about it nor dismiss it because I can't see tangible proof of its existence. So good on you guys and I just typed this up because I'm a little bored and think it's an interesting subject. Peace.
