Velocity lane in PRV

I have an older project (but still created in X1) that I'm making some adjustments on in a True Piano track. I can see the status change as I drag up or down at the notes (ie -3 etc) but it doesn't change in the lane which is what I ordinarily use.
Is there a toggle switch somewhere that will enable the graph bars in the velocity lane (hopefully my terminology isn't so whack you don't even know what I'm asking).
Thanks very much,
Randy

When you say it doesn't change in the lane I thought you meant that the graphic isn't responding. However your next sentence makes it sound as if you simply can't see the lane? Press the little plus sign down the bottom left by the lanes the velocity should pop up...I think. Maybe. Hope this helps haha

Well no, I meant I can see the lane and I can see the graph representing the velocity of the notes but they don't respond in real time as I drag the velocity up or down.
    Thanks very much,
    Randy

Maybe you don't have the Freehand tool to edit velocity data.

Its the one that looks like a pencil. With it you can add and edit velocity in the velocity lane.

Just checked mine and it works fine with Smart Tool which is what I use for PRV.

The PRV lanes are a little buggy at times. Velocity was at one point appearing in every lane no matter what it was assigned to. I haven't done a great deal of MIDI work recently so haven't taken a lot of notice but it was working okay last time I used it.

If it's just one project it might just be one of those strange quirks that only affects the one project.
