Expanded = more drop outs? (or my imagination?)

I just installed Expanded and I'm playing around with it. I'm getting dropouts now on old projects I never did before. Could it have something to do with Expanded? I boosted my buffers some and it helped a little but I didn't have to before.

Did you enable more Pro Channel processing on your old projects ? Perhaps more processing goes into the PC causing those dropouts ?

On the other hand, I've encountered great improvement after I've upgraded my audio interface from Phonic Firefly 302 (firewire) to the Roland Quad Capture. My average 17 msec (128 samples) on the Phonic is now down to below 10 msec (64 samples) with the Quad.

I may have done something with ProChannel. I'll have to go back and look more closely. Tks.

Hi Guys, I'm having the same dropout issues as well since I upgraded to Sonar expanded. All my old stuff and new stuff just keep falling apart. I've tried just about everything. I've even upgrade to a i7 core machine as well.

You may want to retry renaming your existing aud.ini file so that SONAR will generate a new one.
