Registration Trouble

I installed an unopened Guitar Tracks 4 Pro and the install went fine on a new laptop. First time install. I registered it. Yet, every time I try to open it, it asks me to register. When I hit "Register" it then says it is already registered. I can never get it to open.
 
It's a paid and legal copy that I bought when it first came out. It sat there, unopened, for months. I have no logical explanation why it won't open, nor why Cakewalk wants me to register it, then recognizes it as registered, but won't let me open it.
 
I'd appreciate anyh suggestions.

    Hi there Don, how's it going mate!

    Try opening GTP4 in Administrator Mode (right click on the icon and select Run as administrator). When prompted, type in your registration code and it should open.

    You will only need to do this once (hopefully) - once the code has been accepted you should be able to open GTP4 normally.
