Newest version on Sonar Producer

  Hi, What's the newest version on Sonar Producer? I lost track. I bought the update last winter but never got around to downloading the huge files. I was gonna order it on dvd's. Does both the 32 bit or 64 bit version come on the dvd's, or do I need to specify and purchase them seperately? Thank you, Jim

Windows 8 and Sonar X2 Producer.

    I had to call CW to change password, so I bought the new dvd's. I'm thinking of getting a new/used pc for Sonar, should I go 64 bit, or stay 32 bit? How's all the drivers and add on working with the 64 bit Sonar?

    Everything will be in the DVDs or download or whatever you have. At the top of the page is Support and then Support by product and then Producer 8.5. The last was 8.5.3 http://www.cakewalk.com/S...product.aspx/SONAR-8.5

    Current thinking is to go 64bit especially if you're using over 4GB. I'm 32bit so I have no 64bit experience. 64bit - it matters....apparently.

    For me going to windows 7 64 bit solved every little problem I had in the past. You will be going with x1 so you should go to that part of this forum and start reading . good luck. You will need a newer computer I would think to run x1. You need 4 GIGs of RAM now a days. Make sure your audio interface has updated drivers for your new OS.
