Sonar X1 Guide - Missing Plugins: Cakewalk Chorus

Hi guys, I am following the sonar x1 Power! Comprehensive guide, I am on a section where I create folders and put in plugins. In chorus, I try and add Cakewalk Chorus, but it is not in the list at all, the others are there [Cakewalk FX compressor Gate] but not this, I am stumped. Alex

    Hi Alex,

Some of the older plug-ins are not installed by default. Also, they are 32-bit and only work with the 32-bit version of SONAR. If you're using the 32-bit version of SONAR, you can install the plug-ins separately by doing an advanced installed. Check out the beginning of the following video to see how to do this with various plug-ins...

    Thanks for reading my book!

I chose to run the 64bit software, Does this matter? Should I uninstall the 64 bit and go for 32? The only thing is I have a pretty powerful PC and want to utilise the speed as much as possible. Alex

    Hi Alex,

If you really want to, you can also install SONAR 32-bit on your Windows 64-bit system, but there's really not a lot of benefit to using the older plug-ins. SONAR 64-bit already includes plenty of good plug-ins that run in 64-bit. So, if it were me, I would stick with 64-bit.
