That tomorrow isn't garbage day.
Due to the holiday on Monday, garbage pickup is on Friday this week.

Except for Sunday and Wednesday, every day is garbage day here.
If I take the time to load it into the car and drive it to the dump.

Yep. Garbage pick-up day is on Wednesday around here - even on holiday weeks - so my current pile of body parts are now headed to some dump somewhere (good thing there's no CSI: Portland, eh?).

I hate garbage day. All day long, people keep throwing me in dumpsters or stuffing me in barrels emblazoned with a biohazard sticker.
You wouldn't believe how hard it is to get a cab to come pick you up at a toxic waste dump site.

My garbagepickup company cannot seem to decide what they will do. Three times back (Monday holidays) they came a day late, on Thursday. The next tow times they still came on Wednesday. This time they waited until Thursday. I don't guess it matters to me, sometimes I leave the curby? out there for two or three days anyway... I am sure the neighbors hate it but I get a little perverse pleasure from that... we have an HOA, if you get my drift.

When we get our garbage pickups is usually the day after the holiday..if it lands on Friday..it is on Saturday here...

Talking a lot of trash here today...
I tried to get rid of some construction debris in my trash container...figured I would seed a little of it at a time. Those 80 lb chunks of concrete were noticed by the sanitation worker. They have a truck that picks up the container but you still need to move it to the truck. I decided to go a little lighter on him from now on....ever see a can of paint that was "hidden" in the trash get crushed by the hydraulics on the truck? Leaves that tell tale colored streak all the way down the road.
Still way better than the trash that someone forgot the week before or came back from vacation to load .Phew I mean really Phew! When the truck squeezes that orange with the hydraulics the juice gets really interesting.....
