Question for Slate VCC in Sonar X1 users...

I just bought the Slate Digital VCC and love it but I have a quick question about stereo tracks. Typically the use is the VCC channel plugin as the first insert on tracks with the VCC mix buss plugin on the master and sends. I'm working on a song right now where I'm using EZ Keys and SSD4 drums as Vsti's on two stereo tracks. Would I put the VCC mixbuss plugin on the actual track fx bin or send the drums to a sub-buss with the VCC on it? Would it matter? Would appreciate other users input. Also, for those using the VCC, do you still use the prochannel effects and if so do you you have them pre or post fx bin when using the VCC. Really loving what the VCC does to my mixes. Thanks in advance...

I would buss them and put the VCC mixbuss on that.  I'm also curious as to why you are only using one stereo track for your drums as you can easily mix them out to Sonar from SSD on separate tracks which you can then process individually.  Though you can certainly get an adequate sound when using a simple stereo track you can gain quite a lot by treating/effecting each indiviual kit piece and your overheads and room appropriately.  Just curious.

Thanks yorolpal.  Yeah that's next, the individual outs to single drum tracks.  I like mixing inside the instrument (SSD4) to keep things simpler and faster and I can usually get really good results (to me anyways).  SSD4 sounds pretty good on it's own.  I'm so impressed by what the VCC has done I'm going to put the channel plug on the individual drums and then go to the mixbuss on the drums buss.  Thanks for the suggestion!
