Huh... thats kinda cool. This reminds me of a concept album of "War Of The Worlds" by Jeff Wayne, with vocals by Justin Hawyard (and others), and guitar by Chris Spedding. I thought this was a very unique rendition of an incredibly well known piece of music. I enjoyed it a lot.

Sounds like he may have used a Digitech Whammy Pedal to get those higher pitches and not a synth.

Thanks very much for listening, everyone. The lead guitar was done with my Axe-Fx and it features an "octave overdrive" effect I mixed in about 10% and a pitch shifter an octave up that I also mixed in about %10. The desired effect is instant feedback, kinda like a sustainer pickup. Good ears!

ME TOO! Love that tune! Autin - when I first saw this posted I thought "WHY?" well, I guess I still think that some, but this is pretty cool. Not something I would have ever thought of doing. but the steel, acoustic and bass all sound wonderful and are played well. mix is not bad, either.

i saw this over on sevenstring but thought i'd post here. love it. personally i'd take the lead down a smidgeon in relation to the acoustic instruments, but it is sooo cool. good ole John Williams, he can write a tune, eh?
