So, I Got a Zoom R8 and in the USB mode I can input into audio tracks in Sonar 7 producer. The problem is I can not seem to use them at the same time. everytime I plug the Saffire in it disconnects the Zoom R8 and in the audio set up menu it is greyed out. I am running the X64 version so I hear rewire won't work. Is there something I am overlooking. some setting or is it that these two just

I just researched the Focusrite Saffire 6 USB interface and they stated that there was a problem when connecting to a usb port that was not directly connected to the root hub. One symptom listed is that no other devices work while Saffire 6 is connected. adding a usb port that allows Saffire to connect directly to a root hub seems to be the answer. Also Saffire shows that Inputs to the PC are possible through the USB??? I have not got that to work yet.

With ASIO mode you can only use one soundcard at a time. Switch to WDM mode if you need to use both. Note you may run into timing problems using two different soundcards. Best bet is just to use one.
