Dell PC's and audio dropouts - Solution!

I just wanted to report a solution to a dropout problem I was having on my new Dell 620 Inspiron desktop. First, I had noticed numerous dropouts in audio playback through my Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 interface, so I downloaded and ran the DPC Latency Checker program and noticed several very large spikes which visually confirmed there was a system problem. After some helpful tips from other forum members as well as the Focusrite website, I found the solution_______Disable the Dell Wireless Controller (Control Panel/System/Device Manager/Network Adapters). Since doing this, DPC tool reports a nice smooth green graph with a max value of 158us and no more spikes._____Obviously, this might not solve everyone's problems, but it's an easy fix to try and can easily be reversed if ineffective.
