No vocal track when recording

Hello All, sorry for posting this again, but I still can't hear my own voice when I click record.  What I"m trying to do is simply continue recording the same vocal track and use my own voice as a lead in for the next section.  I've alwas done this before and now for some reason I can't hear what I have already recorded.   It plays back fine but just not when I'm recording.

EDIT    I just discovered, that it's only the clips that I applied V-vocal to that I can't hear during recording the the un "fixed" clips I can hear fine.  Any one know why this is or how I can make them sound?

Thanks
Michael

Solved, I ;have to by pass the v-vocal clips and then it works.  Not sure why but it's now working.

Finish your vocal first, then edit with VVoval or anything else you chose to use.
