Windows not restoring properly
I poked around the forum and searched for an answer to this but couldn't find one so maybe someone can help. I have a four monitor setup. I keep the track view on my main center monitor, piano scroll on another, console view on another and the instrument rack on another. It seems the behavior in X1 (Producer Expanded) is the same as 8.5... When I minimize the main application window, then restore, only the track view restores fully. The other windows restore at various sizes, and I am stuck maximizing each of them every time I need to minimize Sonar. Does anyone else experience this, and is there a setting/workaround for it? Thanks, Poco

There may be a setting for your graphics card, mine controls each monitor independent of the program.

Does this just not happen to anyone else? I got 40-some reads and only one response. It's aggravating to have to resize my ancillary windows every time I minimize the application. Thanks

Are you using four of the same model monitor? Are all four monitors set to the same resolution? The behavior that I see with a lot of applications when the primary monitor resolution is less than the resolution of the n-ary monitors, is that the size of the restored windows are relative to the primary display size. So they end up being wrong when brought back from the minimized state. In other words, when your monitor resolutions are different, things can get weird. Without a screen shot of what you are experiencing, it can be difficult to understand what you mean.

Check out the literature on your graphics card and maybe update the drivers.

This is a common problem (and AFAIK is not related to the graphics card, it is an X1 thing) and the answer is in stonehedge's post. If you create a screenset of all of the screens maximised when you minimise the main screen and then maximise it rather than click on each screen to cure the small windows just click on the screenset you used. It worked for me with a two monitor set up. Grum.
