Still cannot move a bucnh of events in PRV view - Cakewalk, fix it!!

Hi there,

we still cannot move simple MIDI events in a bigger group in PRV without making Sonar to freeze and lag. This is nonsense.

Such a simple task as moving MIDI events should be fast and quick in a DAW like Sonar. I bet Cubase or other DAWs can handle this with ease.

Come on CW, you can do better !!

PS: I know I can move more MIDI events at once, in  Track view by moving a clip.

Best Regards,
Marek

    Hi John,

sorry for my late response. I am talking about MIDI notes triggering NI Alicia Keys, some sustain pedal events and approx. 8 bars of chords and melody. It is quite big amount of notes but still. I wan to import the same MIDI into another DAW and try the same there.

In many cases, moving MIDI clips is precise enough, but when I need to move half of my performance to start at a measure, I have to use PRV, it is the most precise way I know.

    Best Regards,
    Marek

You can move MIDI data very precisely using the Event Inspector. Check out this free video...
