Reason users the rewire vst by EnergyXT works awesomely with Sonar X1!!!!

I know many of you have seen my rants about rewire not working right in Sonar and not being happy about it. I decided to demo the rewire vst and bought it within 30 minutes of downloading. Its $25 usd and it just works!!! Its only 32 bit which can be a problem for Reason 6 owners but I just installed a second copy of Reason in 32 bit and I am going strong now. I am very happy about this plug in I had to share.

    Hi,Thanks for info
Iam curiouse, Although a little confused,
I can rewire Midi to Reason and Audio back and Setup drum maps for reason Drum devices If done in the right order,Their is no Problem at all with the actual routing of rewire With reason, where the issue lies is with The new 64bit rewire,Personally 32bit rewire just does not offer enough memory to be practicle for me.
Anyhow the issue is not with the routing of the X64bit rewire, but a bug to do with playback Hence why i am not using sonar for the time being, gutted but what can i do until/if its fixed. When you start playback it either skips the first few bars of sound, or more importnatly we all have to use the loop brace and what it does is cut the sound a little bit at first then every other pass of the loop/brace it goes silent and so on repeating this!

Have You tried it with X64bit and can you confirm any of what i mention is fixed if using this plugin,

another Random question i am curiouse about,Do you know/Can you use mulitple copies of this plugin per track line so that the Track behaves as instrument Tracks if i set up as an instrument track, meaning midi and audio sits on the same track, I can do this with the ableton and the external intr device, makes all the need for the extra tracks hogging up screen space can Be minimal doing it that way,So to sum this question up Does the plugin have Midi out and audio in and can i use multiple Copies of the plugin going to reason.

    Thanks

My mistake its only 32bit plugin, i missread.
But Their is no problem with 32bit rewire only 64bit,
So the only use would be what i mention above about utalising instrument tracks_Is this the case
    Thanks.

Just to add i can see it may make it simpler without having to set all the ins/out as you do in sonar which is quite tediouse to do, if it works that way in sonar ,as the video show only it working with energyx, in a similar manor i do it already, only as i say its quite tediouse doing it for each midi out /audio in via sonar.

    any more info appreciated,

    Thanks

I have Sonar installed 64 bit I do not want to take the 8 hours it took me to download it to install 32 bit just to run rewire. Idk this seems easier and a lot more smooth than trying to run it 64 bit in Sonar. Sonar is the only 64 bit rewire host that I have seen issues with so I don't think its a Rewire 64 bit issue but rather a Sonar issue. I ran 64 bit rewire in Reaper just fine for example. I just really dislike Reaper. I have friends running in Studio one and Cubase with 64 bit rewire just fine as well. As for the vst I have not tried those things personally and setting up drum maps in Sonar isn't something I am looking to do just to make Reason work right. Besides I am using Reason for more than just drums. I use the synths and samplers as well.  If that was the case I would have just kept using Giest and sold my Reason license lol.  As far as multiple instances I haven't tried it but since Reason will only run one instance at a time unless you have multiple documents open perhaps I am not sure if it will work or not. I may try it later when I have some time or if you like there is a free demo on the EnergyXT website

Yes it is  only a Sonar Issue a Sonar 64bit Rewire Issue, No problems with 32bit rewire.
I have downloaded the Energyxt plugin Demo, not quite as advanced or enough, Channels available are only 1 stereo and 6 Mono,Although i have tested it with The energyxt daw demo.
It got confusing i got the impression you where running 32bit from your first post as the xt plugin is 32bit, so what you are saying is you have it running via sonar bitbridge, fair enough i understand now.
Good luck with the bitbridge stability, i gave up on any bitbridge app a long time ago.

Thanks for the info and reply, not sure what all the encrypted coding is in your last post, some error .

I've never had an issue with bit bridge 90% of the plug ins I run are 32 bit. I have seen people say that its not stable but that has not been the case for me.
