That's a good long life. Loved his books as a kid, especially The Silver Locusts and Something Wicked This Way Comes.

R.I.P Ray This is an actual question from one of my Gen. Chem. exams: What would be the title of Ray Bradbury’s book Fahrenheit 451 if he reported the ignition temperature of paper in degrees Celsius? A. Celsius 844 B. Celsius 724 C. Celsius 178 D. Man, Is It Hot In Here? E. Celsius 233

Man, Is It Hot In Here? E. Celsius 233 A 451*1.8+32=844+/-0.5 A is correct and not to detract from the seriousness of Ray Bradbury's passing ... that exam question was a little tricky because the kids did not have the formulae and the other choices would be what you would arrive at ... if you selected the wrong equation: 451 + 273 = answer B 451 – 273 = answer C (451 – 32) x (5/9) = answer E

RIP Mr. Bradbury. I remember the TV show The Ray Bradbury Theater. Always enjoyed that.
