Where is default folder for PGL files (Plugin Menu Layout)???

Hey all,

Anyone know Where is default folder for PGL files (Plugin Menu Layout).  I had saved a new layout to my 2nd Drive but X1 won't pick up this layout unless I keep pointing to it.  Want to place it in the default dir so I can use the drop down box in X1's Plugin Manager window.

    I was having the same issue.  I save my custom layouts to "C:/Program Files/Cakewalk" and they pull up perfectly now. ; )

    Hey Cali,


    So I have my FX plugin list ok now but softsynths causing me probs still.


    I usually goto Menu:  INSERT>SOFTSYNTH> but here I only find the total synths installed and not my saved list.  Also I expected to find my save .pgl file in the list to the right "plugin layout.

    All I see here is "Default All plugins and Manage layouts.

    When I go into manage layour and reload my list it still wont show up in the INSERT>SOFTSYNTH> route.  Something odd is going on here.


    Any ideas?

    I've managed to get my softsynth list in place now by saving it to:

    C:Users\Moff\AppData\Roaming\Cakewalk\Sonar X1 Producer\Plugin menu Layout\...

    But now my FX list is gone.  It seems I can only have 1 or the other.  ARGGHHH!  I have tried saving them both and loading them from 

    "C:/Program Files/Cakewalk"


    As you did and I can load them both but only have 1 at a time.  Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?
