Matrix View Bug When Midi Clip Is Assigned to a Track With Drum Map

Hi,

in matrix view when I assign a midi clip to a midi track with a drum map (automatically created by the step sequencer) where different VST instruments are triggered it won't play (or sometimes it plays but ignoring the map and just using one of the vsts for all notes). This faulty behavior is just in the matrix view. In the standard sequencer mode it plays just fine (as set) so I doubt I did a configuration error.

Can anyone else reproduce this bug? If so i will report it.

    I've encountered this bug. I have to bounce the MIDI drum track to an audio track and drag the audio into the Matrix View. Only happens with MIDI tracks routed through a drum map.

    ok, have you already submitted the bug? (probably I will anyway, can't be wrong to have it submitted twice to show that people are suffering)

    It's not a bug. The Matrix is that limited and does not recognize routing except to a single audio or MIDI track. This is a known soar spot, but there is hope the Bakers will improve the MV some day.

    It's not a bug. The Matrix is that limited and does not recognize routing except to a single audio or MIDI track. This is a known soar spot, but there is hope the Bakers will improve the MV some day. I would suggest putting in a feature request as I have.
