Make sure it was mastered to leave enough headroom for the mathematical errors & clipping that happens when converting to an MP3 CJ

I recently got a track mastered in wav, I added some sound effects at the start, threw a limiter at 0 on it and I hear some noticeable distortion toward the end of the song. I think I read -0.3 db is the safety recommendation for mp3 conversion

You should not be adding anything to a mastered track.

-0.3 to -0.6 is a good range. It just depends on the quality of the converter you have.

Thanks at all!!!!for CJ i do your same work....this is a conversion problems not clip prob, the track is mastered in our pro studio with RMS and Level in according with EBU R128 tech spec.I have send an email to Cake tech support couse i think that is an integration encoder bug (i have this prob only at 320kbps).
