Loved this...the time sig changes were beautifully done, really slick. Great guitar tones too, and some mighty fine playing.

Well I don't know if Gonzo is your name but you are one of the best muso's on this board.

Not my favorite tune, it had moments of King Crimson but I can appreciate the playing.  I have to do this with King Crimson too.

Just keep an eye on those low mids, I'm not too sure about the energy in the low mids.  I'm going to have put some 90's Crimson on now to see how my speakers handle their low-mids.

But overall your a rockstar.

Yea........I was just thinking exactly what Ben was saying about being one of the best on this board, while I listened to your song.  I always try to listen to your stuff because ,well it's rock, for one thing, and your mixes are always outstanding. Like the bluesy kinda swing feel, very original.  Didn't really remind me of anyone in particular, which is good.

You know I still have that Aerosmith cover you did, and I still listen to it occasionally.  You know, the one with the dude that sounds like Ian Gillan. I loathe covers.  And I don't even like the Aerosmith version half as much as yours.   

Your music is really great, but man, I wish you would do an LP with that guy.  You have the sound and the chops and he's got the voice. And there are no bands like that around anymore.  All the older greats have been sterilized by the music Industry.  And most newer bands just plain suck, imo.  Oh well, just a thought.

Anyway, awesome song. Looking forward to more.

No I am not done, but I was done with any comments. It was great how it stood.

this one is a more progressive offering, and true to it's influences (brand x, happy the man, cosmosquad, stuff like that) it's more of a one-way journey... it's supposed to be a trip.......'road to tabriz'....... and when you go along a road, normally you don't double back... you just keep going, seeing new sights, learning new things along the way. thats the way this particular piece was written. the trick is, to keep the 'riffs', melodies, sounds and grooves changing often enough to keep the trip short, and sweet. non repetitive, just interesting. that was the goal, anyways!

yes, it's short and sweet, i think for folks that aren't necessarily fans of prog rock or rock instrumentals, if i can write them short and sweet, and throw enough interesting melody and changeups in there, i can maybe hold onto them to the end of the tune!!
