Sonar X1 expanded audio snap copy and paste problem

I'm trying to do drum replacement with audio snap and have done it in the past with no problems. When I do it now and tell it what note to go on in piano roll (C3 kick drum) I get notes all over the place and not even the whole length of the song. What gives? Has anyone seen this before? See attached photo of screenshot to give you an example.

This just started happening to me today. I pasted the kick in as C3, no problem. Then the snare at D3, no problem. I pasted in a tom at G3 and it pasted it in progressively ascending notes just like you pictured. Any solution to this, anyone?

I fixed it on my project. The kick and snare worked fine because each of those tracks were just one audio clip from the beginning of the song to the end. The problem with the toms is that I had used the Split tool to chop out the long passages where they weren't used. I returned the tom track to one long audio clip* and all of the tom hits are now just one note (B3). Let me know if this solution does/doesn't make sense. *I deleted all of the clips except the first one. Then I dragged the end of that one clip to the end of the song.

I have found this when converting audio to midi

I find it happens IF there is more than 1 clip in the track being converted. (ie-slip edited to remove mic bleed)

If this is the case, bounce the clip then try again
