Can't open file

I have a project I've been working on, and I saved it in it's own file on my desktop. When I open the desktop file, and click on the Sonar file, Sonar opens as normal with a box in the middle of the track view that has the name of my file. When I click open it says "This file already exists. Please choose a different project name". But the file listed IS the file I want. I can't get it to open. Thanks!

Its best to start Sonar and load the project from the File-Open menu. Clicking on the project file, in my experience, rarely, if ever, works.

Thanks, that works. Does this mean we've uncovered a bug?

i don't know what you mean by "When I open the desktop file, and click on the Sonar file," - what happens if you double-click the file you saved to desktop?

I open CWP files from the Windows folders all the time. Sonar will open fine just like any software that has it's own file extention.  But then I always have the audio folder inside the same folder too. The desktop was probably not a good place to manage Sonars file system. The audio file needs to be right next to it in the same folder of it will loose it.
