EnergyXT's Rewire VST

Hi I've been using the demo of energyxt's rewire and it seems to work ok with reason 5.01 although I do occasionally have errors about the audio engine failing to start and have to restart sonar to get it going.

Despite this I'm still thinking of buying it as I'm not sure I want to upgrade to reason 6 just yet but I just want to be clear that I can buy it as a stand alone product and I don't have to buy energyxt as well.

On their website site it is sold as an add on but since the demo works in stand alone I'm assuming I can just buy it for the £19 without having to buy energyxt.

Cheers

Steve

Also the demo doesn't seem to save the project and I'm hoping this is just a demo limitation.
I have to reload reason every time I open the project.

Hey - yes you can buy just the Plugin without Energy XT. Can't help you on the Reason issues though because I don't own Reason. I originally bought Rewire VST so I could rewire Project 5 into SONAR. It's worked great for me for that purpose.

Thanks Brando, that's good to know.
It's a pita that it can't remember what was loaded but then you have to load your song in reason under 32 rewire too so I can live with it.

According to their support the rewire vst doesn't support 64bit but it seems to be working (kind of) under sonars bit bridge although it crashes the aux host when closing a project.
Doesn't work at all with jbridge
