Tool to Monitor Stereo Image

Is there some free tool or plugin I can use to visualize and monitor the amount of power on each channel of the stereo image?
Am finding that my mixes sometimes end up being "lobsided" -- out of balance -- with one channel being "louder" than the other.
 
I know, I know -- "just use your ears".   But I have some hi-frequency hearing loss, and my ears sometimes get "stopped up"
where I can't totally trust them anymore.
