Stretching audio

During import > audio, SONAR is doing a non-proportional stretch, and the audio goes out of sync with the rest of the tracks in the project.
Audiosnap is disabled on the track (F12 so the markers are not shown). Any suggestions on how to prevent this behavior would be greatly appreciated.

The audio file that you are importing has some sort of embedded info in it. I suggest you bounce it to a standard wave file first. , then import it into sonar.
