How to reinstall sonar without losing stuff

Sonar x1 producer expanded is crashing alot when i either save or close down medium sized projects,Ive been avoiding uninstalling then reinstalling cuz its a pain but not sure what else to do.I have saved my cakewalk projects folder but what about vst's and plugins,do I have to reinstall all them as well,and if not(please i hope not)how do I not erase them?Thanks for your help
