    I think this is a really cool track musically. The mix is pretty good, but I am one whose personal tastes run toward dynamics in music (irrespective of genre). The high level of compression makes it hard to listen to for me as there is little sonic interest.

    A scientist knows more & more about less & less till he knows everything about nothing, while a philosopher knows less & less about more & more till he knows nothing about everything.

    valid point. it's more or less a demo so something to take into consideration upon re-recording.

    I like much about this song including the cool lyrics.  I'm reminded of Alice In Chains on steroids.  It is compressed quite a bit which makes is jump out of the speakers, but for this style of music that's common.  I don't think you have to rerecord the song so much as just remaster it a bit.  Just back off the makeup gain a bit, and you'll be in the ballpark.  Even if you do nothing, it still rocks.

    cool. thnx. yeah all these MRI songs are basically demos so there is some room for improvement in further mastering and/or remixing, but the idea is generally there.
