POST X1 D install - ARX Error?

Hi guys, Ever since installing the 1d patch, I get a ARX midi error when I start Sonar X1? I know many people had this problem, any clues why its there and how to fix it? Alex

If you do not have a V-Studio with a built-in Fantom synth, and even if you do but do not have ARX expansion cards, you do not need ARX enabled and it can mess you up.  See if you can fix this by going into Preferences and unchecking ARX under MIDI devices.  (Also uncheck Fantom if you don't have one.)

I had a long thread here about inputs being screwed up, and having ARX checked in Preferences was one of the causes.

I don't know what went down during your install, but since I have a V-Studio and a V-Studio can have two Fantoms potentially, I got multiple messages about installing ARX during Sonar installation and V-Studio set-up and I was not sure how to answer.  This can be a bit confusing.  (For the record, I have one Fantom but no ARX.)

    Good luck.
