Pitch bend curve for one note in step sequencer gets copied to all notes !

 
I believe this happens in Piano roll view as well. Vertically, pitch bend controller data affects all the notes in the same time range.
 
Is there a way to assign pitch bend data to notes in a track but ensure that it does not affect other notes in the same time range within the same track ?

    It's the way the midi spec works. Pitch bend affects the whole channel. The only way around it is to use separate channels. In your case it would mean setting up two channels of the same synth and using one channel for the non-bent notes and the other channel for the bent notes. You can have your two channels in the same track if you are using a multitimbral synth (though I doubt the step sequencer will accommodate that). Otherwise you'll need two tracks.

    Yep, bvideo has it spot on.

    I ran into this recently where I wanted to sweep up a 5-note synth chord where each note had a different sweep pattern.

    The only way was to use 5 separate tracks with 5 separate synths, each one bending one note.
