can phone company block another phone company?

I don't know, maybe it's like a spam filter that you can set.  I recently got a Verizon phone and I've had times where the phone will ring and when I try to answer it, the screen says "Restricted" and I can't answer it.  Have you been trying to call me?

I'm thinking that you need to file this example and complaint at the fcc.org website ... that would be a serious violation of the codes governing communications. There is no excuse for this to happen, unless there is some lack of compatibility between applications, which should be fix'able and the provider have a fix for it.

But it won't get fixed, until the FCC is aware of it, because more licenses for this and that for that provider get delayed when these things are not fixed!

Hurt them where it counts!

But remember one thing ... that many of these will make it look like it is your problem because you got some application in your phone that has "caused" this ... so beware of that, and you might consider listing the apps you have.

Just a thought ... stuff like this should be illegal, but this is America and the richest can do anything they want, regardless and most will never care because they are too busy watching American Idle!
