New guy ; 2 basic questions

Hey guys

Im new on the forum here , but ive been using cakewalk sonar for about 6 years now

I just upgraded to Producer X1 , and have 2 questions ;

- Say im inputting some drums via midicontroller , using the staff view , and i have a 4/4 section followed by a 7/8 . I input these meter changes correctly on the staff view. Usually everything is fine , and i can insert further timesig changes in the project. But sometimes the next meter change , will only affect one bar , asif it is glitched , and you have to continually enter metre changes PER BAR , even if you "Select all" insert metre change , it will only apply to the next 1bar ....

- I have noticed the preset list of tracks , when going to insert an audio track. If i have my own track , ie   1folder containing 2 audio tracks panned LR , fx etc , can i save that as a default , to then recall and import into other projects , and if so , how !?

    Answer to first I'm not sure what's going on there. I can't say that I've noticed that behaviour but meter changes aren't that common for me. When I do use them they work as expected though but I insert them from the TV usually perhaps that makes a difference.

    An insert meter change should insert the change which remains effective until the next change.

    Second one.........

    Once you have set up the tracks how you want them, folders, routing, synths, FX etc right select all the tracks/folders you want saved as part of the template then right click in the header area of a track and select "Save as template..." from the context menu.
